Daring Yourself

I’ve always been a good planner… don’t know where the planning gene came from exactly but I do know this.  I like to get as much done in advance, understood in advance, communicated in advance of an event/experience/commitment as possible.

So when I decided to start hosting live events in 2013 the planning part came naturally to me.  Everything else was a s-t-r-e-t-c-h..

Together with my official Event Planner Sarah, we crafted profitable live events to delight, surprise and deliver value for over 10 years.  I’ll be forever grateful she took the leap of faith with me!

 I  was just as much part of the step by step planning all the way along and have always loved that.

Which is when when it came to planning live Retreats, a more exclusive, personal and private space for clients, it felt natural to do the same.  Just scaled up on value and personal input and scaled down on size!  From 85 in a room to 12 maximum!

Today and tomorrow I’m hosting my final Retreat which will be my 20th Retreat.  Crikey!

Telling you this isn’t about trying to impress you in any way,

it’s more about encouraging you to decide and act up the decision to do something which scares you!

Having no idea how to hold the space for all the women I have, to be able to deliver on the various promises, to do it in a way which ONLY I can do has been to take a massive leap of faith and then to keep trusting myself.  And do it again and again.

I’m hosting it online for energy and logistical reasons and my niece Grace will be our Retreat Concierge based here in our home and – as you can imagine – a lot of planning and prep has gone into it all.

So, everyone who seems to be an expert in something had to start somewhere and build as they went.  Do remember this is and when you tell yourself “Oh but I’ll never be able to do that, I don’t know how…”

Or in someone else’s words…

And in other news…

=================

You can’t really tell how nervous I was or how out of my depth I felt at times… I kept going and want to encourage you and cheer you on to do the same!

And  my precious husband Snowy supported me from the word go, with his feather boa giving us the man’s perspective on a few things!
