It was my birthday this week and I laughed aloud at many of the lovely cards I received.

It’s so clear my friends ‘see’ me and the trend between all of them who don’t know each other but do know me is clear.

Kay loves: Glitter, glamour, Champagne, leopard print, hounds, dressing up AND friends.

That was the gist of all the cards and I do mean ALL!

I’ve always been a glitterbug, always loved accessories and accessorising and Champagne when/where possible!   

AND when sitting in the glass box of an office in London as I did back in the day I daydreamed about having hounds and living in the country…

This isn’t meant to impress you in any way it’s to encourage you to consider how you’re ‘seen’ with the messages those close to you give you.

Snowy for example would be motorbikes and machinery, speed.

Grace, our niece, would be dogs, garden bits, glitter and sunshine.

I know we change and our priorities change as we get older AND we still, at our core, usually are drawn to the things we always have been.

How was I ever going to host an event (for 3 days!) without sparkle in the title!   From 2013 to 2017 I hosted Show Up; Sparkle & Be Heard.  Now there’s a trend!
