Facilitator

I regularly collaborate with organisations to, as the expression goes, “Facilitate Change” and genuinely thrive on delivering targeted and specifically tailored content to groups. We often include remote offices via video/Livestream link up to make it a more inclusive and leveraged experience.

Constantly aware of the energy in the room as the content is shared and discussed, I only work with organisations who genuinely want to offer the opportunity for community and sharing – not just ‘content delivery’. If that’s what you have in mind, I recommend you find someone else. That’s OK. We just won’t be a fit.

Or, if you want to create an environment of trust as well as in-the-moment learning and sharing, count me in! I’m with you all the way. As a result of what I deliver and how I deliver it, the feedback I receive inspires me to do more of what I know works.

The words I chose here in this WordCloud represent what I believe Facilitation truly means. If you believe I can partner with your organisation to deliver, via facilitation of workshops or hosting a bespoke Event together, I’m very open to discussing if or how we can make that work.

Corporate Half-Day Events & Workshops

Recognising the value of group work, of community-building and raising the profile of internal investment in people, I offer a suite of tailored and specifically targeted Half-Day Events and Workshops for corporate clients.

What you can expect if you engage me to facilitate at your organisation.

Collaboration

I partner with corporate stakeholders to ensure the Event is delivered in an easy, straight-forward way with input into ‘marketing’ the event internally to ensure strong Registrations and reduce No-Shows. We then work together on the follow-up to further engage participants.

Engagement

Most of the Events I facilitate are over-subscribed. The combination of the subject matter, the outcomes we offer your participants and the way we work together to plan a true experience mean your participants get so much out of the investment. Supplying articles I’ve written to add further depth plus a copy of my # 1 Best-Seller – The A to Z of Being Understood – I support you to make the best return on the investment.

Commitment

As a Bonus to facilitating an event or workshop, I include a follow-up live group phone call within 3 weeks of the event. This encourages commitment to implement and try out what’s been learned and to have a place for questions and shares. It’s a value-add which works.

Popular Half-Day Events include:

  • Dress for Success at Workyour personal brand speaks before you do
  • Be Valued & Recognised at Workunderstand and express your value
  • Be Influential at Work So People Say “Yes” to You engage and persuade
  • Be On (and Stay On) The Radar At Workbe seen, noticed and included

FEEDBACK FROM ORGANISERS:

Delivering and designing the Masterclass for Sarah’s clients entitled “Communicating with Influence in the Public Sector” Sarah gives the following feedback:

“Having participated in this workshop myself I highly recommend Kay – I learned a lot and came away with tools and ideas to use straight away to help me communicate more clearly, effectively and influentially.

We received excellent feedback from the participants following Kay’s Executive Masterclass – some saying it was one of the highlights of the two days with us. Kay is an engaging, credible and creative facilitator, who really knows her stuff – she’s also good fun!”

—SARAH G., BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, UK UNIVERSITY

Working with Kevin and his fellow Board members recently, I was invited to work with the Board as they focused on ways to engage the management teams to respond and step up for New Year targets.

“Using the piece Kay shared with us about how to really engage with people when they don’t want to hear what you’ve got to say gave me a clear and easy way to connect with our operations team. It was amazing. I’ve struggled in the past and Kay’s framework of firstly, the order in which to give the information and then, the words and phrases to use -and to avoid – meant the operational teams really “got” what I wanted this time and are now working with it.

We bridged the real gap I had between the strategic and operational language and this, for me, is a crucial learning – and that was just one piece of what Kay showed us that day!”

—KEVIN M., MARKETING DIRECTOR, Executive RECRUITMENT COMPANY, UK

Invited to speak to the Women’s Network of a London-based Bank, this was one of their inaugural events to boost membership and engagement

"We quickly had 'standing room only' for Kay’s talk to our Women’s Network. She made all the organisers comfortable the event would be a success and helped us attract a big audience with her materials. We had great feedback from our members about her content and how it will help them day-to-day to be more assertive and step up and are planning to invite Kay to speak to our members again soon."

—L.KHAN, London Chair of the Women's Network at a UK High Street Bank
